Congratulations to the 2009-2010 Cheer Team. Venice High School Cheerleaders competed at the Florida State American Championships held at the Florida State Fair in Tampa in February. Despite the bitter cold weather, the girls did an excellent job placing 6th in the state and earning a Superior rating.

Tryouts for the 2010-2011 Cheer Teams will be held May 10th-13th from 5-7pm in the North Gym. While prior cheerleading experience is helpful, newcomers with spirit are encouraged to tryout. Tryout packets are available at the VHS Athletic Office and also at all feeder middle schools. Packets will also be available at VHS Spin Night, April 21st.
